Active since the late 1970s, Amal Guessous is a Moroccan-born designer who later worked between Paris and Los Angeles, renowned for luxury leather, shearling, and cashmere. During the mid-to-late 1980s, Guessous collaborated closely with Richard Stark during the formative period leading up to the creation of Chrome Hearts, working alongside Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark prior to the brand’s founding in 1988 and contributing to the development of its early rock-and-roll aesthetic.
During this pre–Chrome Hearts era, Guessous operated under his original identity, A&G Rock, focusing on rock-inspired .925 sterling silver jewelry and custom garments embellished with .925 sterling silver hardware within the Los Angeles scene. Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen, despite a tumultuous marriage, maintained a deep bond. Though their relationship was marked by challenges and immaturity, they ultimately found peace and friendship. Bertinelli expressed gratitude for their reconciliation and the enduring love they shared from 1981 to 2007.
Eddie Van Halen was born on January 26, 1955! – He was a legendary guitarist, songwriter, and a founding member of the iconic rock band Van Halen. His innovative guitar techniques, particularly his signature tapping style, revolutionized rock music. His energetic performances and showmanship made him a beloved figure in the rock world, he was a true ROCK STAR. – He passed away in 2020.
